Serve the Lord, our life practice
At Living Grace Community Church we believe growth in Christ cultivates in us a desire to serve the Lord. For a Living Grace believer, serving the Lord means sharing the good news of the Gospel with a lost and dying world, and contributing time, talents, and treasures to His church and to those in need. God has uniquely gifted each of His believers for the purpose of bringing glory to Himself. We believe our faithful service honors God and deepens our relationship with Him. Motivated by our love for the Lord, we desire to be a family of believers, each one committed to serving one another and the world.
Join us as we serve both each other in the church and serve in the community.
Serve at living grace
Set-Up Team - Our set-up teams work on a 4 week roation, serving for one month and then off for two months. Opportunities to serve include setting up and tearing down signs along the road, setting up and tearing down the stage and sound equipment, and setting up and tearing down coffee and book stations. If you are interested in being on a setup team please contact Bob Boston at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Usher or Greeter - If you would like to find out how to become either a greeter or an usher at Living Grace please contact Brian Murphy at email@example.com.
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) - We are currently involved in the FCA club at Independence High School. We attend and lead the meetings twice a month on campus during their lunch period. If you are interested in being involved please contact Andrew Berthiaume at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Independence High School - Several times throughout the year we have the opportunity to serve Independence High School in various ways. One of the ways we do this is through our bi-annual campus clean-up days where the entire congregation is invited to pull weeds, plant flowers, pickup trash, scrape gum, powerwash, and whatever else would be helpful to the school.
Foreign Cross-cultural Work
Living Grace Overseas Cross-cultural Workers Internship Program - A 2 year program for those among our Living Grace family that wish to be sent into an unreached people group. Pastor Brian trains and disciples during this time until the interns are ready to move into a training program such as Radius International or Ethnos360.
Radius International - Radius International seeks to carry the gospel to every point around the globe through training pioneer cross-cultural church planters. Radius prepares missionaries for the realities of pioneer church planting among the least evangelized peoples of the world.
Ethnos360 - "Missionary training teaches you about the complex concepts involved in tribal church planting, such as understanding culture and learning language, so you can effectively communicate cross-culturally. We’re also vitally concerned about your walk with God, so that in an isolated, high-pressure environment, your relationship with God can survive and even thrive."
